If you’re looking for an unforgettable meal to mark the end of 2018, there’s nowhere better than the newly opened Sushi Jiro at Keppel Bay (No. 2 Keppel Bay Vista, #02-01).

The extensive menu includes fresh sushi where the ingredients are handpicked and flown in from Japan four times a week, as well as deliciously succulent premium Wagyu beef. Apart from the exquisite food, you’ll also get to enjoy your meal with a picturesque view of the marina.

You’ll be glad to know that Sushi Jiro is offering an opening special of 15% discount from now until 31 January 2019! Best of all, it’s only a few minutes’ drive for residents of the nearby Reflections and Corals at Keppel Bay.

VivoCity

If you don’t feel like having Japanese cuisine, there are plenty of other dining options at VivoCity, which is also only a stone’s throw away for residents of Reflections and Corals at Keppel Bay. If you’re in the mood for something nourishing, check out Beauty in a Pot (VivoCity, #03-08A), which offers lip-smacking savoury soups such as its famously rich collagen broth.

For something sweet, a selection of elegant desserts awaits at the French café, A Summer in Paris (VivoCity, #01-13). Treat yourself to their award-winning macarons for that extra sugar rush to last you until midnight.

Siloso Beach Party

If you’re looking for a beach party, you could check out the countdown party at Tanjong Beach Club. But most people will be headed to the annual dance party at Sentosa’s Siloso Beach, which will be happening from 6pm on New Year’s Eve to 6am the next day. This is the 12th year the event is being held, and revellers can expect the same star-studded line-up of DJs, including Dutch DJ Jay Hardway and the ever-spectacular fireworks at the stroke of midnight.

A highlight of the party will be its iconic Foam Zone, where you can let down your hair and get wet and wild in more than 50,000 litres of foamy water. There are also Resolution Boards for you to pen down your goals for 2019, and prop-filled photobooths to help you perfect that selfie to welcome the new year.

If you like fireworks but don’t feel like mingling with thousands of party-goers at the beach, why not check out Universal Studios at Resorts World Sentosa?

The resort’s family-friendly theme park has extended its hours for New Year’s Eve until 12 midnight and will offer not only live street performances but also a dazzling display of fireworks to ring in the new year.
